Effective January 1, 2021, Bausch Health communicated to covered entities that they will discontinue offering the 340B price for current and future branded NDCs through AmerisourceBergen. These covered entities were advised to find an alternative distributor for these NDCs if they wish to obtain them at the 340B price. 

340B Program administrators should consider the following options:

• For any PIDs that do not have an alternative distributor for Bausch Health NDCs or are unable to access affected NDCs through an alternative distributor, affected NDCs can be added to the Do Not Order list to prevent splitting available accumulations to 340B.
  
  
• For retail PIDs utilizing a third-party integrated processer like VHUB or 340B Direct, NDCs can be added to the Exclude Items/340B Eligibility list to prevent them from qualifying for 340B. You may need to reach out to your third-party integrated processor to prevent NDCs from splitting to 340B.
  
  
• For retail PIDs utilizing Macro Helix’s Prescription Assistance Program, you can update your program to address these NDCs.
  
  
• For PIDs that can access Bausch Health NDCs through an alternative distributor at the 340B price, you may choose to order these NDCs manually and add the affected NDCs to the Do Not Order list to prevent them from automatically splitting to your AmerisourceBergen 340B account.
